Éolectric is proud to announce that the Astuwicuwon Wind Project (92 MW), developed in partnership with the Sitansisk (St. Mary’s) First Nation, has been officially selected by NB Power following a competitive call for proposals.
This project is part of New Brunswick’s ambitious initiative to add more than 450 MW of wind energy to the provincial grid by 2028.
Astuwicuwon stands as a concrete example of respectful and sustainable co-development with Indigenous communities, aligned with principles of economic reconciliation and energy transition. This partnership marks a significant step toward a low-carbon energy future, while delivering lasting economic benefits to the Sitansisk community.
We sincerely thank our partners and NB Power for their trust and shared commitment to a greener future.
